The 43-year-old Tiger Woods was awarded the nation’s highest civilian honor yesterday at the White House. He is the fourth golfer to earn this distinction and certainly the youngest. Tiger Woods is seen as a True Legend having transformed golf and fighting through the years of injury to return to the sport’s summit.
The President had announced last month that he would honor Tiger Woods with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, a day after Woods won a fifth masters title. In an Emotional way Woods Said,
“You’ve seen the good and the bad, the highs and the lows, and I would not be in this position without all of your help.”
“The amazing Masters experience I just had a few weeks ago certainly is part of the highlight of what I’ve accomplished in my life on the golf course.”
